It is going to be interesting to see how technology affects the distribution of rock and roll. As Satellite High Speed Internet, DSL, and other forms of high speed Internet reach into rural areas, and as music begins to be stored more and more by Cloud Hosting, files will easily be downloaded. Will there be a need to go to the music store? Will people even want to fool with physical media?
How do you guys think that this is going to affect distribution? How might this open the market up to independent artists? What do you think?
